Can I drop my car off the night before my scheduled service?
Yes. We accommodate drop-offs before our 5:00 pm closing time the day before your booking. Alternatively, you can request access to our secure key lockbox system to drop your vehicle off outside standard business hours to fit your schedule.
Do you do pre-trip vehicle inspections before I head out bush?
Yes. We provide comprehensive vehicle inspections for drivers planning long-distance travel. We check your belts, hoses, fluid levels, suspension components, and tyre pressures to ensure your vehicle remains reliable before you hit remote roads.
Will my massive rooftop tent clear your workshop hoists?
Yes. Our workshop bays in Malaga, Midland, and Balcatta feature high-clearance hoists built for rugged 4WDs. Standard modifications like rooftop tents, bullbars, and lift kits will not interfere with our ability to complete your scheduled service.
I bought my own engine oil, so can you just use that for my service?
We use premium commercial-grade oils that match your manufacturer’s precise technical specifications. While we prefer to supply the oil to guarantee the service quality, we can make exceptions for trade representatives or specific performance requirements if arranged in advance.
Can you handle an official department of transport pit inspection or an Uber check?
No. Westralia Car Care does not offer Department of Transport pit inspections or rideshare safety checks. Our workshops focus purely on logbook servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance. We can refer you to nearby authorised inspection centres if required.
Will you actually reset my dashboard service light, or will it keep flashing at me?
Yes. Every routine maintenance check includes a digital scan tool reset of your vehicle’s service interval counter. We also stamp your physical logbook or update your digital manufacturer record to preserve your service history.
Do you offer payment plans if I get hit with a massive repair bill?
We do not offer internal payment plans or finance options. We believe in straight talking and transparency, which means providing an accurate itemised quote before any work begins. You retain complete control over what repairs are approved on the day.
